23rd of June - National Day in Luxembourg. Not everywhere are the colors of our flag celebrated as here - but this is definetely the day to see the whole city in Red-White-Blue

Getting started....

7.00 am: One of the many parks within Luxembourg City - this is the one I love to walk through on Saturday mornings to get to my most beloved appointment at the Café InSculpture of stoneball rolling in water (the building behind is one of the public swimming pools within Luxembourg City)

I will have to ask at the Tourist Information myself to get to know more about this sculpture -but I love the aspect of 'modern' piece of art and 'old' building behind

Normally I wouldn't look at those little hideaways - but with the camera in hand the smallest edge looks lovely On my way through the City

7.00 am - Place d'Armes - the Center of the City

The purpose of my walk through town: Café In - to start the day with my most beloved hot chocolate

7.15 am - This is perhaps a bit too early for Laura to give me her sweetest smile - but she is the reason to start the day at the Café In
