"Are you an artist?"

was the question of the owner of the restaurant near the castle of Clervaux, where I took some pictures after visiting the exhibition "Family of Man".
"Then you can perhaps take a picture of my tomatoes as well" was his propostion after I replied "yes" to his first question.
So - here they are ;-))
If you happen to visit Luxembourg one day - don't miss this!
If you want to know more about Edward Steichen and the exhibition - please have a look here (in french)

Eating outside is the best thing I can imagine to feel relax!

Well deserved vacation...

I had prepared a different picture to let you know that I am on vacation, but there has been a problem.
Nevertheless, I think this is the one that will express as well what is going on in my life.
I am on vacation for the next two weeks.
So, take care
See you soon

To get ready...

...for even better sunsets..
...at my beloved place..
...called Brittany,
...I have chosen some of the past sunsets...
...taken in Luxembourg ;-)

Mmm...Mmm... Märtchen...

The background of this fair is a religious one
(description can be found here)
like always in Luxembourg.....
.. but the current outcome has a lot to do with food -
like always in Luxembourg ;-)
Do you care for nougat, roasted almonds or cotton candy?
Hmmm.. this is just for me.. a childhood memory!
I dreamt of fishing those little ducks the entire day
but was only allowed to do it once in a fortnight -
that's what I call getting childhood nightmares!

Spring delayed

I am not sure what happened...
...but there must have been a mix up ;-)
Definetely the barbecue will have to wait..
..as well as getting your laundry dried in fresh air
